The Halona Blowhole

The blowhole is a natural occurrence formed by molten lava tubes from volcanic eruptions thousands of years ago. The lava tubes run to the ocean and, when the surf is right, the blowhole shoots water up to 30 feet in the air.

Secret Beach at Sherwood Forest

Waimanalo Bay is one place not to often visited by tourists, that has one of the Oahu Beaches that will leave you in awe of it’s shear beauty. The beach is surrounded by an Ironwood forest (that locals call “Sherwood Forest”). We are not allowed to stop here, but it’s so beautiful we’re gonna drive through so you can see where the forest meets the ocean.

Sunset Beach on North Shore

Known for big wave surfing during the winter season, it is a site for surf competitions and home to the prestigious Vans Triple Crown of Surfing, which is part of the World Cup of Surfing. It also hosts the Pipe Masters and a stop on the WSL Championship Tour. We’re not allow to get out at this location, but when the surf is up you can see the waves from the bus.

Sea Turtle Beach (Alii Beach)

A beautiful spot for snorkeling. Large sea turtles (“Honu”) are often seen in the shallow waters here. The shore area is a combination of sand and rocky outcroppings, making the area perfect for snorkeling a seeing some of the local sea life.
